What We Deliver | Product Development for Pet Brands

We are a product development partner, not a catalogue seller

Send us a product idea — a sketch, a photo, or a 3D file — and this is what you receive. Every item below is produced by our own engineering team before any tooling is cut. Production then runs at our audited partner factories in China.

1. Design Drawings

2D drawings and a 3D model of the product and every component.

  • Overall dimensions and critical tolerances
  • Exploded view and assembly sequence
  • Component list with material callouts for each part

Why it matters: you can quote your own customers and plan packaging before a factory visit is ever needed.

2. Product Analysis (DFM)

A manufacturability review done before a single yuan is spent on tooling.

  • Wall thickness and shrinkage control
  • Draft angles and parting line placement
  • Gate location and weld line risk
  • Assembly, snap fits, and the points most likely to fail in the field

Why it matters: most cost and quality problems are decided at this stage, not on the production line.

3. Product Cost Analysis

A line-by-line cost build-up, not a single number.

  • Material: grade, part weight, and expected wastage
  • Moulding: cycle time, machine tonnage, cavitation
  • Labour and secondary operations
  • Packaging and carton cost
  • Unit cost at different order quantities

Why it matters: you can see where the money actually goes — and where it can come out.

4. Mould Drawings

The tooling design, completed before steel is cut.

  • Cavity layout and parting surface
  • Runner and gate system
  • Cooling circuit
  • Ejection, slider and lifter design

Why it matters: you know exactly what is being built, and you hold the design record for future maintenance and repeat tools.

5. Mould Cost Analysis

Tooling cost broken down, with the trade-offs made explicit.

  • Steel selection and hardness
  • Cavity number versus cycle time versus unit cost
  • Slider, lifter and hot runner cost
  • Tooling lead time
  • Tooling ownership and maintenance terms, in writing

Why it matters: the cheapest mould is rarely the cheapest decision.

How it works

  1. Send us a sketch, a photo, or a 3D file.
  2. We review manufacturability — whether it can be moulded, what the risks are, and roughly what the tooling would cost. We confirm the scope with you first.
  3. If you want to proceed, we quote the development package item by item.
  4. You approve the drawings before any tooling starts.

We would rather tell you early that a design has a problem than discover it after the mould is cut.

Two things we will always put in writing

  • Tooling ownership. Who paid for the tool, who owns it, and where it is kept — agreed before the project starts.
  • What is and is not certified. We will tell you which certifications the assigned partner factory holds at the time of your order, and which product tests we will arrange for your market. We would rather confirm a certificate in writing than promise one we have not verified.
